NSA Whistleblower Snowden's interview with Glenn Greenwald

The mainstream media and Congress have subtly, and not so subtly, been doing their best to demonize Edward Snowden as a "traitor" (Boehner) involved in an "act of treason" (Feinstein) who is possibly a deranged "dropout" and just wrong about the facts.

Check out this YouTube video interview of  Snowden by Glenn Greenwald and decide for yourself if he is some sort of wacko "traitor" "dropout" or a very intelligent, sensitive, and concerned American, warning you about the "turn-key tyranny" of the now established and ever intrusive American security state. The Congress and the mainstream corporate media do not want you to understand that the hearts of intelligent whistle blowers like Snowden are devoted to the defense of decency, democracy, basic privacy, and American liberty.

From Snowden:

"The storage capability of these systems increases every year. . . ."

"You don't have to have done something wrong, you simply have to eventually fall under suspicion by somebody, even under a wrong call, and then they can use this system to go back in time and scrutinize every decision you've ever made, every friend you've ever discussed something with, and attack you on that basis. . . . "

Update:
My old man's take, regardless of ingrained cynicism derived from unfortunate experience, is that people like Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden, will always emerge from the human genome because the spirit of justice and decency cannot be stamped out of the human race by mean, greedy and corrupt people. There IS hope to be found in the intelligent minds and actions of humans, no matter what is thrown at them by degraded and rotting cultures, and elite driven societies.
